We are driven by making every effort to be up to the most diverse expectations and to meet all those we believe the right setting must always fit the individual purpose. With that regards, imagination knows no limits - for instance, whereas you might be familiar with brunches, our delicious blend between lunch and dinner on the basis of Tyrolean specialities is called « marende » ; besides, as our hotel guests we will present you daily with a further sophisticated blend, this time between alpine and mediterranean food ingredients, at lunch or dinner table where also a tasty buffet shall never be missing ; yet, think also of more special events such as wedding receptions, birthday dinners or, more in Autumn than year round, a pleasant gathering with your close friends, colleagues or relatives in occasion of a typical South-Tyrolean « Toerggelen » night with traditional music and dancing...
Consequently, you can choose between different venues :
-) our « stube », as in our dialect we would call this cozy, wood-panelled dining room, which is particular seeked for group dinings among close friends or relatives.
-) our modern yet still in a traditional style held bar with nice colours, clear wood and featuring also some reminiscence of nearby old farms of our valley by means of a dark wood ceiling dating back to the 16th century - an ideal spot to meet up with friends during the day or to catch up after dinner
-) our architectonically harmonious restaurant featuring personal touch especially in the choice of colours and decoration – the place where our hotel guests at the dinner table end up getting to know each other and start building friendships that in many cases have lasted even some generations
-) and last but not least, our terrace from where a breath-taking view onto the Dolomite mountains can be enjoyed and which at the end of a entertaining day will be a welcomed compensation for all your physical efforts when hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter; at that occasion, enjoy also our delicious home-made cakes o sweeties or alternatively a nice cup of ice cream or a Tyrolean « merende » altogether with a fine glass of wine!
We, the family Furtschegger, as well as our team will be looking forward to getting the opportunity to spoil you in exactly the same way as you have come to know on this virtual tour.
The restaurant will be open year round at the exception of Mondays, whereas the hotel will be open for you year round, at the only exception pre-Christmas from 12 December until 24 December 2010.
Tasting delicious South-Tyrolean dishes
Using possibly all local products with some ingredients even stemming from the hotel-owned nearby farm are being combined into a wide array of most tasty dishes.
Accordingly, at our restaurant during a single stay you will be tasting of all three different cuisines : Tyrolean, Italian and international. Just to give you a slight idea as to how this selection could look like, think of such a tradtional Tyrolean dish as “Schlutzkrapfen”, further deer medaillions with walnut herbs and juniper sauce, potato and bacon-, cheese- or spinach dumplings. Our restaurant’s reputation is also due to such a broad variety in the dishes we prepare for you
