South-Tyrol is very fond of sledging, maybe it is the most popular winter sporting activity.
Give it a try of combing a healthy walk by foot uphill or a comfortable trip by chair lift with a speedy downhill experience. Sledging is big fun and even more if you are spoilt like at the Alta Pusteria Valley with a handsome choice of nice alternative trails.
This is an easy and therefore ideal trail for families. Uphill by car to the Alpenhotel Ratsberg from where an additional walk uphill is needed. On request, it is possibly to sledge also at night with proper lights.

This is an easy trail and therefore ideal for families.
- Uphill by chair lift: 10 minutes.
- Uphill on foot: 1 hour approximately.

This is an easy trail and therefore ideal for families (a times it is closed, to be updated in time the ticket service of the chair lift will provide you with information). Uphill by chair lift or on foot, you will terminate the journey near the state's road between San Candido/Innichen and Sesto/Sexten. To go back to the starting spot allow for 30 minutes on foot

This is an easy trail and therefore ideal for families. Starting spot is the parking "Gweng" situated at what used to be a gravel pit in the Innerfeldtal. There is a start at the hut of Tre Scarperi/Dreischuster (which is also open during winter), terminating spot is the parking of "Gweng"
